STUDIO DINNER

Cranbrook Academy of Art

DIVE Studios

Co-creators of the Studio Dinner series Xenya Burdo & Jaime Pattison co-hosted this iteration of its Studio Dinner series with Cranbrook Academy of Art honoring the Gilbert Family Foundation Fellows and Cranbrook students. Jennifer Gilbert and Laura Grannemann, Executive Director of the Gilbert Family Foundation, were present with Cranbrook students and many friends of the Arts from New York and Detroit. The evening featured a vocal performance Detroit based transdisciplinary artist KESSWA.

Studio Dinners are immersive experimental dinner experiences that bring together a group of artists, and members of the arts community in Detroit in a creative environment that blends culinary experience and social practice hosted in collaboration with Xenya Burdo. Jaime is acting manager of DIVE Studios, a shared studio space that includes 12 artists in Detroit. Since we have been open, we have hosted conversations, workshops, the Studio Dinner series, and are also home to an artist-run printmaking shop.
